Life Chain

Ed Prechel, of Pekin, holds an anti-abortion sign along the southbound lane of University Street on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, in front of the St. Vincent De Paul School. Prechel was one of several people who held signs along University Street as part of the Life Chain to protest abortion. This is the 20th year for the event, which is held on the first Sunday in October every year.
