MLK Day of Service

Lindsay Smith, a senior at Aurora Alternative High School, adds a detail to a mural depicting below-ground drainage during the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at the Banneker Community  Center. The mural is intended to show children how the above ground landscape is connected to below ground drainage systems, streams and caves.

    Hi, James,

    I work at the Corporation for National and Community Service, the federal agency that oversees the MLK Day of Service effort. Would you mind if we posted these pictures with our MLK Day clips? If that’s OK with you, could you also let me know where these pictures were taken?
