Indiana-Iowa baseball (let it rain)

April 16, 2010

Here’s a shot from Friday’s Indiana-Iowa baseball game. This is as far as they got in the game as it was later postponed to Saturday due to rain and thunderstorms in the area. Players from both teams looked miserable as a heavy rain hit the field suddenly as a woman performed the entire National Anthem despite the showers.

Iowa's Zach McCool (25) watches as a singer performs the National Anthem despite a sudden heavy rain shower before a game against Indiana on Friday, April 16, 2010, at Sembower Field. The game was postponed until Saturday due to rain and thunderstorms in the area.
