Last week I spent some time photographing Cheyenne Post 6 star Brandon Nimmo for the New York Post. The New York Mets recently selected Nimmo with the No. 13 overall pick in this year’s MLB draft. Last season, he batted .448 with 15 home runs and 84 runs batted in. But he doesn’t act like it. Despite his overwhelming success in Wyoming’s legion league and his first round draft selection, he continues to be extremely humble. He addresses everyone as “sir” and continues to go about business as usual with his legion league team, Post 6. When I photographed him at his home, his family was very hospitable to Post columnist Kevin Kernan and I. What follows are a few favorites from my time with Nimmo. You can read Kevin’s column here.
