Mishawaka Pilots Club Airport

November 30, 2012

A few weeks back I had the opportunity to spend a bit of an afternoon photographing the Mishawaka Pilots Club Airport, a small airport outside of Elkhart, for a community section feature. While I was there, the club’s president, Dee Davis, took me up for a few laps around the airport in the air.

Dinosaur in downtown South Bend

October 24, 2012

On Monday I photographed a dinosaur mascot in the County-City Building in downtown South Bend. It made for a few interesting juxtapositions and even more weird looks from passersby.

Dimayah Marsh, 3, gets a hug from Sal, a dinosaur mascot promoting lead poisoning awareness, on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, morning in the lobby of the County-City Building in downtown South Bend. As part of National Lead Poisoning Awareness Week, the St. Joseph County Health Department was offering free lead tests to youngsters inside the lobby of the building.
