This is a funny frame I captured during one of four state basketball games I covered on Thursday. The games were held at Casper College, and I ended up using strobes for the last two games of the evening there after fighting the ambient light all morning. When you light a basketball game, it’s considerably tougher to get a peak action shot because you are limited to one frame every few seconds. This is because the lights take a few moments to refresh to get a full output. In short, I was pretty lucky to capture this frame since I had only one shot at it.
