Schloss Neuschwanstein
Here are a few more Holga frames from my trip to Europe last month. Schloss Neuschwanstein, roughly translated as the Castle of New Swan Mountain, is one of the most famous and popular castles in Germany. Built in the late 1800s, it is the inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Salzburg, Austria
Here are a few frames I took with my Holga last month in Salzburg, Austria. The multiple exposure below was an attempt to show a few sights in the city including Mozart’s tourist presence and the horse-drawn carriages.
Carolyn Wonderland at Blues on the Green
I had one of my first true Austin experiences on Wednesday night. Austin is known as the live music capital of the world for not only South by Southwest, but also the regular concerts throughout the year. One of the most popular concerts in the summer is Blues on the Green every Wednesday night at Zilker Park near downtown. A few thousand people come out for the free show with blankets, dogs and beer. Here is a frame of the night’s featured performer, Carolyn Wonderland:
An evening at the ballpark
Here’s a feature I shot tonight up at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. The Statesman had a suite reserved at the minor league game there for the interns and a few staffers.
