Otters and butterflies

May 25, 2013

I was assigned today to photograph features of a new butterfly exhibit at the Potawatomi Zoo. (Slow news day.) While I was at the zoo, I wandered around a bit and shot some otters. Yesterday I photographed the chief justice, today I photographed otters. Got to love the variety of my job.

Downtown South Bend First Friday

April 7, 2013

After what has seemed like 10 months of winter weather, Downtown South Bend was able to mark April First Friday outdoors. This month’s theme was “Street Performer’s Paradise,” which attracted some colorful personalities to the streets of downtown South Bend.
