Little 500 Miss-N-Out

April 10, 2012

Couple weeks back, I shot a bit of Indiana University’s Little 500 Miss-N-Out cycling races while I was in town visiting friends from college. Although I shot a lot of stuff on my “normal” cameras, I also exposed three rolls on my Holga. With a couple days off from the daily grind, I finally got around to processing and scanning the negatives.

Dyngus Day politicking in South Bend

April 10, 2012

I spent most of Monday covering Dyngus Day politicking in South Bend. I’m not Polish or from South Bend so this was my first Dyngus Day experience. The day marks the unofficial start to the campaign season and drew several statewide candidates to the city. It was a long day, but a fun day as I got to shoot quite a bit of politicking amid smells of cooking Polish sausages.

U.S. Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., speaks to the media before a Dyngus Day rally on Monday, April 9, 2012, outside of the St. Joseph County Republican headquarters in South Bend. Pence is running for Governor of Indiana.

Arizona Diamondbacks prospect Archie Bradley

April 6, 2012

Here’s a quick Silver Hawks media day sportrait I shot of Arizona Diamondbacks prospect Archie Bradley earlier this week. The Diamondbacks drafted him at No. 7 overall in the 2011 MLB draft, and I doubt he’s in South Bend very long before moving up. Look forward to seeing him pitch a few times this summer at the Cove.
