Rabbits at Berrien County Youth Fair

August 13, 2012

I spent my morning in Berrien Springs, Mich. for the county’s youth fair. The writer and I decided to cover the rabbit show after the event we originally had planned to cover turned out to not be until Thursday morning. I haven’t had the chance to cover very many county fairs this summer, but I’ve enjoyed the rare opportunity to wear my cowboy boots in public.

Lest We Forget

July 26, 2012

I photographed a local WWII re-enactment back in June on a Lake Michigan beach. Primarily I shot using two DSLRs, but I managed to sneak in a few frames here and there using my Holga. Originally I had planned to use my Rolleiflex, but alas it remains a $220 paperweight on my bookshelf after a camera strap failure lead to its early demise during a May trip to Chicago.
