

Spent my Saturday at a wedding party for my great friends, Larry and Erin Buchanan. Had a great time at the party, played several epic games of cornhole and got way too cozy with the margarita machine. They are preparing to move to Brooklyn later this week, and I will miss them dearly.
I photographed a local WWII re-enactment back in June on a Lake Michigan beach. Primarily I shot using two DSLRs, but I managed to sneak in a few frames here and there using my Holga. Originally I had planned to use my Rolleiflex, but alas it remains a $220 paperweight on my bookshelf after a camera strap failure lead to its early demise during a May trip to Chicago.
My paper was in need of A1 wild art again today so I was able to convince my editor to let me drive over to Goshen, Ind. for the Elkhart County Fair. The fair is one of the largest county fairs in the country so I figured I might be able to get something out of it. It just so happened that today was the big 4-H dairy show.
