A snow-covered campus greeted students returning from winter break to beginning the Spring 2025 semester. This amount of snow is unusual for Bloomington and presented a rare opportunity to capture some postcard-esque winter scenic shots of the campus. The University Photographers’ Association of America featured me in a recent story focusing on the behind-the-scenes story behind the first photo below.
Sunday marked my tenth anniversary as a photographer at Indiana University. In this past decade, I have been very fortunate to document my beloved alma mater. I always tell my students that the camera is a passport to places you otherwise wouldn’t be able to go. This has certainly been the case here for me. From photographing and meeting John Cleese to witnessing a total solar eclipse, the camera has enriched my life with countless opportunities.
