Baby it’s cold outside

February 2, 2011

This week Cheyenne has been hit by an epic freeze. And by epic I mean -13 degrees Fahrenheit. Today’s wind chill was -40 degrees Fahrenheit. It was so cold that for the second consecutive day, I couldn’t get my truck to start in the morning. It was a slow day at the office aside from my normal legislative photographic duties in the morning, but in the afternoon I got sent out to find people being cold. I didn’t find any home run features, but I started shooting into the sun around 5:30 p.m. to try to show the trails of visible exhaust fumes in the cold.
